Lavender Cove on
Lake Ketchum
Lavender Cove is a sweet little inlet connecting to Lake Ketchum.

Lake Ketchum is about 20 acres, but don't let the small size fool you.  While the area is developed with summer and full-time residences, pockets of pristine beauty offers abundant opportunities for enjoyment and relaxation.

An active lake-front community club keeps the water quiet and free of motarized craft.  This makes Lake Ketchum perfect for a wide variety of resident and migrating birds.  Families of Wood Ducks are among my favorites.  Fish are abundant at some times of year

Friendly knowledgable neighbors enjoy telling about the local flora, fauna and history of the area.  Click on the link below for a virtual visit with neighbor Bob at his beautiful website where he tells about what it's like living in northwestern Washington on a small lowland lake.
